Category: Healthcare Reform

Connecticut Children’s Office for Community Child Health advocates for healthcare reform that takes the needs of children into account first. By intervening early with vulnerable children, they can move forward on paths toward lifelong health and well-being which will save substantial healthcare costs in the future. By focusing on children first, we are poised to realize a far greater return on investment over the long-term, as opposed to focusing efforts on reducing costs with the adult population and people with chronic illnesses.
